The global new energy vehicle (NEV) industry has entered a new stage of deep integration across low-carbon transformation, intelligentization, and globalization. Technological innovation is accelerating at a breakthrough pace, the industrial chain ecosystem is undergoing systematic restructuring, and the landscape of international cooperation continues to deepen and upgrade. To build global consensus, jointly chart development pathways, and share industrial opportunities, the 2026 World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) will be held in Haikou, Hainan from September 22–24, 2026. The Congress will feature a plenary session focusing on topics such as low-carbon development and resilient growth, industrial chain synergy and integrated innovation, and the Hainan Free Trade Port and globalized development. In addition, 10+ thematic forums will cover key technologies for complete vehicles and components, industrial support systems, and international cooperation, alongside one closed-door session for policymakers, heads of international organizations, and leaders of global automakers. The Congress aims to convene leading figures from global industry, technology, and policy spheres to jointly explore development pathways and new paradigms of international cooperation for new energy vehicles against the backdrop of low-carbon and intelligent transformation.
